Terms of Service

By accessing or using Seamlift ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Seamlift. We may update them from time to time — continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Seamlift is a video collaboration platform designed for YouTube creators and their teams. The Service allows you to upload video files, create project versions, leave frame-accurate comments, and manage approvals — all in one place.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

To use Seamlift, you must sign in with a valid Google account. By doing so, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• All information you provide is accurate and up to date

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at aritrasarkar2002@gmail.com. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to use Seamlift only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload content that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property right
• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or other harmful code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its servers
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service using automated means without our consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

You retain full ownership of all video files, comments, and other content you upload to Seamlift ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant Seamlift a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and deliver Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

This license is strictly limited to what is necessary to run Seamlift. Specifically:

• We will not sell or license Your Content to third parties
• We will not use Your Content to train machine learning models
• We will not display Your Content to other users without your explicit action (e.g. inviting a collaborator)

You are solely responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights, including copyright. If you upload content you do not own or have rights to, you do so at your own risk.

All elements of Seamlift — including the software, interface design, logos, trademarks, and documentation — are the property of Seamlift and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use any Seamlift trademarks, logos, or branding. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our express written consent.

Seamlift relies on third-party services to operate, including Google Firebase (authentication), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), and Modal (video processing). Your use of the Service means your data may pass through these providers in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party service. Links or references to external services do not constitute endorsement.

You may stop using Seamlift and delete your account at any time. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimer of warranties, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content on or accessed through the Service.

Your use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Seamlift and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunity
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Deletion of your content

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations, so the above may not apply to you in full.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Seamlift and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service, (b) Your Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction in which Seamlift operates, as applicable.

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice within the app at least 7 days before the changes take effect. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should stop using the Service before the effective date.
